Willow & Stone Estate is an exclusive wedding & special event venue, central to Ballarat, Victoria. Extreme privacy, beauty and location convenience, makes Willow & Stone a very stylish but relaxed venue for that extra special event. The exclusivity of this property remains intact due to limited weddings & events offered each year.
Our venue provides you with a uniquely relaxed and flexible atmosphere to create your special day. No pressure, no rushing from location to location, no rushed set-ups and check-outs.
A typical wedding package includes a full weekend of exclusive hire of grounds for ceremony, photos, and reception area and full use of the luxurious bridal suite from Friday morning to Monday afternoon. You then have the flexibility to tailor your day to exactly as you dream.
Additional to the hire you are welcome to source your favourite caterer, photographer, stylist or whoever your heart desirers. Should you need, we can provide a list of preferred suppliers and happy to work with you to ensure your day runs seamlessly.
Choose your perfect ceremony location, finesse your entrance, tie the knot and – while your guests enjoy the gardens with drinks and canapés – slip away to a multitude of stunning locations among on the grounds to create your photographic memories.
For your reception there is a perfect arena bound by natural stone and foliage with your choice of a clear or covered marquee to comfortably hold at least 150 guests seated. Should you choose, there is a stunning outdoor area for dance floor and lighting to dance the night away under the stars.
Recovery option the following day to enjoy other areas of the venue your guests may not have seen – perhaps a coffee-fuelled brunch or a lunchtime barbecue with beers and petanque.

We offer more than just a beautiful blank-canvas venue. There are so many delightful extras we can fill you in on when you get in touch. To answer a few FAQ’s: Yes, we have thought and included all the boring stuff in our venue hire so you don’t have to worry about it! 15-amp power throughout, rubbish removal, next-day clean up, water access, toilets, security, insurance, venue management, bridal suite clean-up post get ready, wedding night set-up – all included as part of the venue hire. No surprise venue costs. You just plan the fun stuff (we can help with that too if required).

We are now fully licensed with what we think is the best pop-up bar around. Our onsite bar with top notch service and package options to suit your style and budget. Contact us and we can send you “The Bar” options, together with our venue information, inclusions, exclusions and pricing.

Acoustic, DJ, bands – all are welcome (sound limits apply for certain curfews – contact to discuss).
You have full use of our luxury suite – including expansive dressing room – for the entire weekend. Stay with your besties the night before. Brunch and get ready on site. Celebrate, then return to your magically-prepared honeymoon suite which is all yours for the next two days and nights. Lots of surprises to make your stay extra special.

We have a stunning marquee arena, surrounded by natural stone and foliage. Our venue hire includes use of our clear or covered marquee. You can style to the hilt or enjoy the simple ambience of the natural surrounds. Included in your hire is our dimmable festoon lighting and a dance floor that can be set up outside your marquee or inside, entirely your preference. The Marquee is large enough for up to 150 guests seated, depending on table arrangement, usually with plenty of additional space.
Our private oasis is only minutes from Ballarat CBD, a stone’s throw from Sovereign Hill. Step inside our gates and your guests are transported to an arcadian world away from the everyday. Abundant accommodation options are literally at our private rear gate – no driving or buses required. We can recommend the best accommodation, cafes, bars, restaurants and attractions all within minutes of our venue, ensuring your guests feel the weekend is a wee bit about them too!
We have developed some wonderful relationships with incredible service providers that may suit your dream day. Whether it’s styling, photography, furniture hire, floristry, a wedding celebrant or even lawn games – we can help you find the supplier to suit. Of course if you’ve already got it covered, we look forward to welcoming your providers of choice.
We love our local region. So much undiscovered talent, wonderful produce and artisanship. We can recommend photographers, caterers, entertainers, stylists, florists and so many more.
Our licensed on-site beverage option – The Bar – showcases our incredible local wine region. When choosing our Bar packages we offer complimentary wine tasting for the wedding couple to ensure your guests experience the local love too. Our promise: you will not be disappointed.
